At Arlene’s, we are constantly inspired by the incredible talent of our instructors, and we are excited to share some fantastic news from the recent 2024 Colonie Art League Holiday Show! We are thrilled to announce that three of our talented instructors received well-deserved recognition for their artistry.
 | Tracy Loring – 2nd Place in Acrylics Tracy Loring, known for her vibrant and expressive acrylic paintings, Remember Whose Daughter You Are, captured 2nd Place in the Acrylic category at the show. Tracy’s work is a beautiful exploration of color and texture, and her ability to breathe life into every piece shines through in her award-winning work. We’re incredibly proud of her achievement and can’t wait for you to experience her teaching style in the upcoming workshops at the Atelier. |
 | Nancy Lyons – 1st Place in Pastels Nancy Lyons took 1st Place in the Pastel category with her delicate, nuanced, and masterfully crafted pastel pieces. Her ability to capture light, texture, and emotion in her pastel work never fails to leave an impression. Nancy’s dedication to her craft and her students is truly inspiring, and this award is a testament to her exceptional skill and talent. |
 | Oksana Burr – Best in Show The show’s top honor went to Oksana Burr, who was awarded Best in Show! Oksana’s incredible artistry and mastery of her medium are widely admired, and this recognition is well-earned. Her work blends technical precision with artistic passion, creating pieces that captivate and evoke strong emotions. Oksana’s success is a reflection of her exceptional talent, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our instructor team. |
