Student Art Show

Arlene’s Artist Materials, the Atelier at Arlene's, and R Gallery at Arlene’s are thrilled to present the Fourth Annual Student Art Show—a celebration of creativity, learning, and artistic achievement. This group exhibition showcases artwork by students who have participated in classes or workshops at the Atelier at Arlene’s, highlighting a diverse range of styles, mediums, and perspectives.

This year’s show will be held at the William K. Sanford Town Library (629 Albany Shaker Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211), providing an inspiring space for our students to share their work with the community. Featuring pieces in charcoal, watercolor, mixed media, and more, the exhibition reflects the artistic growth fostered within our programs while giving students a professional platform to display their talent.

Mark your calendars for a special Artist Reception & Awards Ceremony on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM, where we will recognize outstanding works with awards sponsored by the Albany Center Gallery, the Arts Center of the Capital Region, and the Colonie Art League. Prizes include monetary awards, memberships, and special recognition from Arlene’s, including Best in Show, the Diana Bangert-Drowns Memorial Creativity Award, and Honorable Mentions.

The William K. Sanford Town Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 8 PM, Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM. Library event schedules may affect availability, so we recommend contacting the library directly for the most up-to-date details.
