Intuitive Painting with artist in residence Tracy Loring

Feeling in a creative rut or not sure you have what it takes to create a painting you love? Let loose and set your imagination free! In this online workshop, Tracy will guide you to tap into your intuition and let it lead your way as you create. She’ll walk you through a process using acrylic inks and watercolors that will allow you to express yourself freely. You'll then use subtractive painting and other techniques to pull out the shapes and imagery that emerge. It's amazing what you can create!

Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. Refer to the Materials List linked below for more information.

This is an online workshop. Participants will make art at home with live guidance from the instructor.

What you’ll need:

• Internet access.
• An internet-connected device with audio and video capabilities. A computer or laptop is highly recommended, but participants can join by phone or tablet if needed.
• Zoom, which will be our primary platform. No account is required, and secure links and passwords will be provided by the instructor.
• Adequate space for making art.
• Art supplies, as listed on each class's supply list, are provided by email. Participants are responsible for securing the supplies needed for each class (for example, if you already have scissors and glue, you don’t need to order them), and the cost of art supplies is not included in the class fee.
